Colors & Finishes
COLORS
Concrete Interiors offers a full range of colors that are earthy and natural to casts that are vibrant and lively. Currently, we offer more than 150 colors. Custom colors and color matching are available upon request for an additional fee.
We use iron oxide pigments and they are integral throughout each piece. Iron oxide pigments are colorfast and won’t fade with exposure to the sun.
Colors and edge details play a large part in the look and design of what you’re trying to achieve. We assist you to find that look and work with you to provide a unique item for your home or business.

FINISHES
STEEL TROWEL FINISH
Our “Signature” Look
Many of our project are finished with our “Signature”, steel trowel finish using our traditional concrete mix. This gives each top surface a unique, beautifully mottled look. Though the surface is smooth, it looks like the concrete has movement. This is caused by the burnishing of the trowel as the concrete is drying. The artist can provide a lighter or heavier burnish depending on your desire. Each piece is one-of-a-kind so your final project will also be one-of-a-kind.
HAND-PRESSED FINISH
Our “Artisanal Traverine” Look
Our hand-pressed finish is a unique process of hand-placing the concrete mix into a mold or form, face-side down. What makes this process different from our traditional look is that the mix is much stiffer and doesn’t flow into the forms. It is placed by hand in approximately one (1) cubic inch at a time, one next to the other with the skill to encourage slight voids between each placement. After proper curing time, the project is un-molded and lightly sanded. At this point, the voids are filled with colored cement to either match or complement the base concrete color. The end result is a uniquely beautiful mosaic of color and interest. One may choose their own color combination to make this product completely unique. This technique is very popular for fireplace surrounds and larger edge details, specifically outdoor kitchens, wall caps, fire pits, and pedestals.
EDGE DETAIL
Currently, we offer nine (9) unique edge details but can create custom edges if desired.
